- The right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- The right to restriction of data processing (Art. 18 GDPR),

To assert these rights, please contact: info@peacock-events.com. The same applies if you have any questions about data processing in our company or wish to withdraw your consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Rights of objection
Please note the following in connection with rights of objection:
If we process your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object to this data processing at any time without giving reasons. This also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with direct advertising.
If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes. The objection is free of charge and can be made informally, if possible to: info@peacock-events.com.
In the event that we process your data to protect legitimate interests, you can object to this processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.
We will then no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
Purposes and legal bases of data processing
When processing your personal data, the provisions of the GDPR and all other applicable data protection regulations are complied with. The legal basis for data processing arises in particular from Art. 6 GDPR.
We use your data to initiate business, to fulfill contractual and legal obligations, to execute the contractual relationship, to offer products and services and to strengthen the customer relationship, which may also include analyses for marketing purposes and direct advertising.
Your consent to data processing may also constitute a data protection authorization requirement. Before you give your consent, we will inform you about the purpose of the data processing and your right of withdrawal.
Disclosure to third parties
We will only pass on your data to third parties within the framework of the statutory provisions or with the appropriate consent. Otherwise, your data will not be passed on to third parties unless we are obliged to do so due to mandatory legal provisions (disclosure to external bodies such as supervisory authorities or law enforcement agencies).
Recipients of the data / categories of recipients
Within our company, we ensure that only those persons receive your data who need it to fulfill contractual and legal obligations.
In certain cases, service providers support our specialist departments in the fulfillment of their tasks. The necessary data protection contracts have been concluded with all service providers.
We may send your data to our foreign representatives. The necessary data protection contracts have been concluded with them. We send your data specifically to the foreign representative office located in your country or responsible for your area in order to process your order or request or to provide you with event-specific information and offers.
Transfer to third countries / intention to transfer to third countries
Data will only be transferred to third countries (outside the European Union or the European Economic Area) if this is necessary for the performance of the contractual relationship, is required by law or if you have given us your consent to do so.
Storage duration of the data
We store your data for as long as it is required for the respective processing purpose. Please note that numerous retention periods require that data (must) continue to be stored. This applies in particular to retention obligations under commercial or tax law (e.g. German Commercial Code, German Fiscal Code, etc.). If there are no further retention obligations, the data is routinely deleted once the purpose has been achieved.
In addition, we may retain data if you have given us your permission to do so or if legal disputes arise and we use evidence within the scope of statutory limitation periods, which can be up to thirty years; the regular limitation period is three years.
Secure transmission of your data
We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the data stored by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. The security levels are continuously reviewed in cooperation with security experts and adapted to new security standards.
The exchange of data to and from our website is always encrypted. We offer HTTPS as the transmission protocol for our website, always using the latest encryption protocols. It is also possible to use alternative communication channels (e.g. by post).
Obligation to provide the data
Various personal data are necessary for the establishment, execution and termination of the contractual relationship and the fulfillment of the associated contractual and legal obligations. The same applies to the use of our website and the various functions it provides.
We have summarized the details for you in the point above. In certain cases, data must also be collected or made available due to legal provisions. Please note that it is not possible to process your request or perform the underlying contractual relationship without providing this data.

Cookies (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a, f GDPR, § 25 para. 1, 2 TTDSG)
Our website uses so-called cookies. They serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device and saved (locally) by your browser. Cookies only contain pseudonymous, usually even anonymous data. Some cookies remain in place for the duration of a browser session (so-called session cookies), others are stored for longer periods (so-called persistent cookies). We do not use any third-party cookies on our website, nor do we use any services for tracking or marketing purposes.
Due to our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR), we set technically necessary cookies, which are absolutely necessary for the operation of the website and to ensure its functionality. Furthermore, we use cookies without your consent if their sole purpose is to store or access information stored in the terminal device for the transmission of messages or if they are absolutely necessary to provide the service you have expressly requested, § 25 para. 2 TTDSG.
Subject to your consent, other cookies are used to enable us or third parties to analyze how our services are used, for example. This enables us to tailor the content to user needs. Cookies also enable us to measure the effectiveness of a particular advertisement and to place it according to the thematic interests of the user, for example. The legal basis for this is your express consent (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, § 25 para. 1 TTDSG).
You can revoke your consent at any time via our consent banner with effect for the future and change the cookie settings. Please note that changes must be made separately for each end device.
Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can also deactivate, restrict or delete cookies on your device manually via your browser settings or with the help of software. If you deactivate the setting of cookies, you will not be able to use our website to its full extent or only to a limited extent.
Google Analytics – Universal Analytics (with anonymization function)
On this website we use the web analysis service Google Analytics (with anonymization function) of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The controller for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.
The purpose of the Google Analytics component is to analyze the use of our website by visitors. As our processor, Google provides us with reports in accordance with Article 28 GDPR, which we can use to display and evaluate the activities on our website. A Google Analytics cookie is stored on the device you use to visit our website. When you access individual pages of this website, the Internet browser on your device is automatically prompted by the Google Analytics component to transmit data to Google for the purpose of online analysis. As part of this technical process, Google receives knowledge of your personal data, in particular information about the browser type/version, operating system used, the page you previously visited, the host name of the accessing device, IP address and the time of the request, which Google uses, among other things, to trace the origin of visitors and clicks. However, this data is not merged with other data about you. In addition, we use the function in which the IP address of your Internet connection is automatically shortened by Google and thus anonymized if our website is accessed from a member state of the European Union or from another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Your data may be processed in the USA and transferred there, i.e. to a third country outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA). The legal basis for the data transfer is the adequacy decision with the USA pursuant to Art. 45 para. 1 GDPR based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The provider has certified itself in accordance with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and is therefore obliged to comply with the EU level of data protection.
Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of Google can be found at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html Google Analytics is explained in more detail at this link: https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/analytics/
The data is stored for 30 days.
If you do not agree to the storage and analysis of this data from your visit, you can object to the storage and use of this data at any time in the cookie settings. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, which means that we will not collect any session data.
Please note that the complete deletion of your cookies means that the opt-out cookie will also be deleted and may have to be reactivated by you.
As long as you wish to maintain your objection to the storage of the visitor data collected, you must not delete the aforementioned cookie, as otherwise we can no longer technically guarantee that your objection will be observed.
Advertising purposes for existing customers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR)
Peacock Events GmbH is interested in maintaining the customer relationship with you and sending you information and offers about our products / services. We therefore process your data in order to send you relevant information and offers by email.
If you do not wish this, you can object to the use of your personal data for the purpose of direct advertising at any time; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with direct advertising. If you object, we will no longer process your data for this purpose.

Newsletter, Art. 6 para. 1, 1 lit. a GDPR
You can subscribe to a free newsletter on our website. The email address provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to send the personalized newsletter.
The principle of data minimization and data avoidance is observed here, as only the email address is marked as a mandatory field. For technical reasons and for legal protection, your IP address is also processed when you order the newsletter.
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending newsletters by e-mail. This means that you will only receive advertising by e-mail if you have previously expressly confirmed that we should activate the newsletter service. We do this by sending you a notification e-mail and asking you to confirm that you wish to receive our newsletter at this e-mail address by clicking on a link contained in this e-mail.
You can of course unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in the newsletter and thus revoke your consent. It is also possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time directly via our website.
Registration / customer account (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, b GDPR)
On our website, we offer users the opportunity to register by providing personal data. The advantage of this is that you can view your history in particular and the data you provide will be saved for further processes. This means that you do not have to enter them again when you place another order.
Registration is therefore either necessary or possible to fulfill a contract with you or to carry out pre-contractual measures.
The principle of data minimization and data avoidance is observed here, as only the data required for registration is marked with an asterisk (*) as a mandatory field.
To participate in the trade fair, we also require information about the company and the billing address (title, first name, surname, address).
By registering on our website, the user’s IP address, the date and time of registration are also stored (technical background data). By clicking the “Send” button, you consent to the processing of your data.
Please note: The password you assign is stored by us in encrypted form. Employees of our company cannot read this password. They are therefore unable to provide you with any information if you have forgotten your password.
In this case, please use the “Forgotten password” function, which will send you an automatically generated new password by e-mail. No member of staff is authorized to ask you for your password by telephone or in writing. Therefore, please never give your password if you receive such requests.
Once you have completed the registration process, your data will be stored with us for use in the protected customer area. As soon as you log in to our website with your e-mail address as your user name and password, this data will be made available for actions you carry out on our website (e.g. for bookings). Bookings made can be traced in the history. You can enter changes to the billing or delivery address here.
Social media links
On our website you will find links to the social media services of Meta/ Facebook, X , YouTube, and LinkedIn. You can recognize links to the websites of the social media services by the respective company logo. If you follow these links, you will reach Yontex GmbH’s corporate presence on the respective social media service. When you click on a link to a social media service, a connection to the servers of the social media service is established. This tells the social media service’s servers that you have visited our website. In addition, further data is transmitted to the provider of the social media service. These are, for example
- Address of the website on which the activated link is located
- Date and time the website was accessed or the link was activated
- Information about the browser and operating system used
- IP address
If you are already logged in to the relevant social media service when you activate the link, the provider of the social media service may be able to determine your user name and possibly even your real name from the transmitted data and assign this information to your personal user account with the social media service. You can exclude this possibility of assignment to your personal user account if you log out of your user account beforehand.
The servers of the social media services are located in countries outside the European Union. The data may therefore also be processed by the provider of the social media service in countries outside the European Union. Please note that companies in these countries are subject to data protection laws that do not generally protect personal data to the same extent as is the case in the member states of the European Union.
Please note that we have no influence on the scope, type and purpose of data processing by the provider of the social media service. For more information on the use of your data by the social media services integrated on our website, please refer to the privacy policy of the respective social media service.
Links to other providers
Our website also contains – clearly recognizable – links to the websites of other companies. Insofar as links to websites of other providers exist, we have no influence on their content. Therefore, no guarantee or liability can be assumed for this content. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of these pages.
The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations and recognizable infringements at the time of linking. Illegal content was not recognizable at the time of linking. However, permanent monitoring of the content of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement. If we become aware of any legal infringements, such links will be removed immediately.
